Hotel Fontana sits in the peaceful mountain village of Passugg, just outside Chur in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Our location offers the perfect balance: close enough to Switzerland's oldest city for convenience, yet tucked into the Alps for tranquility.
What makes us truly unique is our dual identity. During the academic year, we serve as a residence for students attending the prestigious École hôtelière de Lausanne campus in Passugg. When students are on break, we open our doors to parents, alumni, and travelers seeking authentic alpine hospitality.
This dual purpose infuses Hotel Fontana with a special energy: the academic excellence of EHL combined with the warmth of Swiss mountain hospitality.

EHL Partnership
Official partnership established with École hôtelière de Lausanne. The building became a dedicated residence for EHL Passugg students, welcoming future hospitality leaders from around the world.
